New Years 2009 Tokyo : We celebrated NYE with good friends plus thousands of others at Zojyouji Temple near Tokyo Tower. The next City Run, we skated to Hie-jinja, a shrine, and we got Omikuji, which tell your fortune for the year. In a few pictures, Monica's friends are trying to translate her fortune for her. The photos at the end are close-ups of my omikuji, which I've studied with my teacher. It's a good fortune in many ways, it should be a good year. Later that day, I made shabu-shabu for the first time. I'm not sure if I did everything right, but everyone thought it was very good.

Rainy Azabu Juban Matsuri, 2008 : The annual fall festival (Matsuri) in Azabu Juban, near the center of Tokyo, is always VERY crowded and fun. The rain didn't seem to dampen the enthusiasm, though it was a bit challenging for me to hold the umbrella, the dog, and a beer. New Year's Eve 2007 at Zoujouji Temple : 大みそかで増上寺に行きました。家の近くて、面白いです。最初の写真はすごいと思います。１２時きっかりに皆さんは携帯で写真を撮ります。たくさん　気球は揚げる。東京ターワーの記号が２００６から２００７まで変わりました。
